The following is Max's "frustrated" response to someone reading Max's post and responding like he did not.

It’s sad when

You look but you don’t see.

You listen but you don’t hear.

You read, but you don’t comprehend.

Read my posts again and again and again and ……and maybe you will see, hear and comprehend (one can only hope).

I never said long toss was not effective.

Have you ever really talked to a major league pitcher, hitter or coach about training, physiology (say what….????) as the eyes glaze over…….

Tony Gwynn (nice guy) endorses the Solo-Hitter. But when asked by the New York Times what he uses to keep sharp (during he last baseball strike) he told them he hits a bucket worth of whiffle balls off a tee. I found out a long time ago what players say and what they actually do are many times not the same.

Do you think Ken Griffey really uses the Instructo swing trainer that he endorses? Or that using it will give you a Ken Griffey swing?

Or that if you push off the rubber you will burn in hell.

I could care less about catching flies (as in bugs).
